We’re also tying the bow on Fabled Weapons by introducing ones for the remaining Classes that did not have one associated with them. Throw in Dream Challenges, custom seeds and translations, and a bunch of balance and QoL fixes, and baby, you’ve got a stew going! While we love this game and we love the community that has grown around it, all good things must come to an end. And yet, even after a hopeless situation like that, it's hard not to want to try one more run just to see what the next generation of heroes has to offer. Sometimes you might even stumble into a bad situation with the wrong setup, such as running into a challenge to defeat all enemies with a character incapable of dealing damage. You're going to fail and you're going to die … a lot. For gamers, this all makes Rogue Legacy 2 a fun, fast-paced, and constantly evolving action/adventure that's not for the faint of heart.įor newcomers to the Rogue Legacy series, one thing needs to be made clear. As the successor to the original, it expands and improves on the gameplay genetics it inherited, while also carving out an identity apart from its predecessor. In a lot of ways, Rogue Legacy 2 perfectly represents that twist. ![]() Players had the chance to build on their past attempt though a constantly changing roster of heirs, each with their own unique set of skills and quirks. What do you do when one hero isn't quite up to taking on the armies of darkness alone? That's easy - in Rogue Legacy 2, you turn it into a family affair. Well, at least until the next generation rolls around. With a little luck, a little skill, and a whole lot of death, you'll build a heritage of heroism capable of driving back the baddies. You'll also use any resources gathered from your ancestors to prepare for battle, pay Charon the ferryman to cross through the darkness, and dive into the fray once more. ![]() You'll choose from a selection of heirs with any combination of abilities, traits, weapons, and more. Sure, it might have seemed like just another heroic quest against the armies of darkness, but you probably should have known something was up when you had to sign that pesky contract ahead of time. ROGUE LEGACY 2 is a multi-generational spin on the classic battle between good and evil.
